No one should drown

Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue

When it storms at its worst. When someone is in need. When every second counts. Then rescuers set out to sea with one goal in mind: to save lives.

Saving lives is at the heart of everything the Rescue Society does. It has been that way ever since the first two rescue vessels were launched in 1893.

No one should drown

125 years later, we are proud to have saved over 6,400 lives, and to teach 30,000 children and young people seafaring skills every year. But we are not there yet. More than 100 people drown in Norway every year. Worldwide, just under 400,000 people drown each year.

What does the Rescue Society say about the Cooperation

NSSR is pleased to have linked up with such a professional supplier as Hansen Protection, who contributes both financially and with valuable expertise. Cooperation with the Rescue Company

In collaboration with key people in RS, Hansen Protection has developed specially designed life jackets for the Rescue Society's professional rescue crews, members and recreational boat users. The lifejackets have been very well received in the market and the popular leisure lifejackets are now sold via RS'online store.

Hansen Protection is proud to be able to contribute to securing the Rescue Society's skilled and professional rescue crews, their members and recreational boaters.
